Our team has a history and drive to improve everything we touch. We are proud of our examples of acquiring distressed resorts and creating new hotel brand and management experiences. But this one turned out to be a gem. 5-star experiences and 5-star ADR with 3-star brick and mortar. It can be done. But how?

This process followed the guidelines of all our projects, with a personalized twist: 

First, we purchased the resort and managed the negotiations and underwriting of the transactions. 

Then we launched the new hotel brand and converted all necessary assets to the brand. We created SOPs, guest touchpoints, core values, mission/vision statements, job descriptions, experiential programming, accounting/financial systems, brand & marketing materials, and established strategic partnerships right away. Managing capital expenditures as well as operations came next.

That brand, within one year of launching, won the #1 Conde Nast Reader’s Choice Award for best hotel in Hawaii, the #2 spot in Travel & Leisure World’s Best Awards Survey for Service, the #1 Spa in Hawaii for Travel & Leisure.

Riding that success, we created a recognizable trademarked name and logo, managed a database of 50,000 customers, launched a website garnering 45,000 unique visitors each month, and accrued 51,000 Facebook followers all within the first year of the brand.

Every step of the process was maneuvered with attention to detail and confidence. From purchasing to establishing the brand to managing the hotel, our team continued to run on the same page while our hands were seemingly in everything.
